DESCRIPTION
Jon Christos
burst onto the scene in 2005 with his debut solo album Northern Light and reached number six in the UK Classical chart.  With its excellent balance of standards and original material (check out "Did You Ever" below, which is a particular highlight) Christos promised to be an exciting addition to the classical crossover genre.  Although his only official album release to date, Christos has been consistently busy since.  He has toured and performed at prestigious venues across the UK and collaborated with many artists, such as Alfie Boe, Elin Manahan Thomas, Juliette Pochin and Cortes.  He has also performed for the likes of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.  He has released charity singles and the collaborative album Poetry Serenade with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.  Christos is a pianist, song-writer, arranger and a radio presenter but his most appealing asset is, indeed, his voice.  Beautifully textured, warm and emotive, he possesses a gift of versatility.  He performs arias with aplomb and he is equally effective with pop songs.  He has more recently revealed, especially with his regular duet partner, Jenny Williams, his exceptional talent for musical theatre.  Make sure to check out his teaser tracks on the front of his website to fully appreciate this multifaceted and colourful tenor.

I'm happy to see John listed amongst the male artists again.

Agreed, and looking forward to his new venture 'Broadway and Beyond'.

I went to Jon's website and listened to his blog. What a personality he has, really charming! I was interested in his view of how the market has changed and that he and Jenny Williams are being so well received as a duet. I listened to one video and then listened to all of them. Jon has an amazing voice! Has this man been hiding on his radio show? I am happy he is no longer doing that but is using his talent in performances. I never thought Nella Fantasia could sound good as a duet. It wasn't good, it was wonderful. The couple has something special and I hope they release an album soon because I will purchase it immediately. Thank you so much, Nicola, for taking the time to revise Jon's profile. I think he is someone perhaps overlooked. Now with Jenny, we should all take a listen!
