If you heard New Zealander Rebecca Nelson on the radio, you could be forgiven for believing her to be Katherine Jenkins. Nelson possesses the similar warmth and rich texture that made Jenkins so famous though their repertoire is a good distance apart. Nelson's debut studio album Pure Imagination mostly pays homage to musical theatre and some well known standards. Nelson started her career by taking to the streets of Dublin during her stay in Ireland and ended up supporting The Priests during their tour.
