DESCRIPTION Grace Bawden was a contestant in Australia’s Got Talent in 2008 at the age of fifteen, but failed to take the title. She is now an independent artist, and released her debut album in September, 2009. Bawden has a tremendous range - her light classical voice sounds like Hayley Westenrain her younger years, but, like Sarah Brightman, Bawden has two voices and is more than capable of singing in a full opera voice. Despite her young age, she is not frightened to try her own hand at composition and arrangement. Whilst her live shows have been heavily classical, her recordings have more pop influences and will be cherished by crossover fans that like to hear something a little different.
Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to stop and listen and share your thoughts. My latest news is that I am teaming up with PEfA (UK) to raise funds to help get children in Africa a basic education. To do that PEfA is hoping to get me over to the UK for a series of concerts. Every gift of AUS$15.50 (£10) offers a free gift, or by donating AUS$77.80 (£50), you can pre-purchase two tickets to one of my UK concerts. Make it a gift for someone you love and help kids in Africa get something that will change their lives forever. In addition, I will be performing with a number of independent CC friends in what promises to be a unique cross continental collaboration. http://www.indiegogo.com/pefacd

Your voice will be the voice of Sarah Brightman in the future. I love the way you change your vocal range in similar style to Sarah. Keep up the vocal training and you are destined for a wonderful career in music.
That's so kind of you to say sonambula! It's deeply appreciated. I hope to share new tracks in the near future, but these things always take so much longer to put together than most people would expect. Meanwhile, here is my recent TV interview, http://www.salife7.com.au/south-australia/people/entertainment/grace-bawden-s-got-talent . Xo
I like her uniqueness. I like the fact she has not made her teeth perfect. Her smile is beautiful and she does not look like a clone. She has style and elegance. And of course, she has a voice that projects feelings, softly, powerfully, melodiously.
Hi Sophie, I remember the letter you wrote a long time ago and I still treasure it. Are you on Facebook. If so, please join me and stay in touch. How are you? Thanks classint. Your constant support is priceless. xoxo
