ARTIST OVERALL RATINGS
Sinéad Blanchfield has enjoyed great success as a vocalist, performing in countries all over the world and making regular appearances on TV and radio in the UK. She's a trained opera singer, but her voice is so versatile that she sings a wide variety of repertoire and styles. She released her debut album, Voyage of Dreams, in 2009. Blanchfield's performances seem to consist of technical discipline but also narrative improvisation; although her album consists of standards we all know, her vocal delivery gives them a new dimension. Her range is nothing to be sniffed at either - the high notes in 'Hallelujah' and 'Granada', for example, are heart stopping. With elements of classical, celtic, pop and jazz, her music is widely appealing and her album will definitely be treasured by the core classical crossover audience.
