DESCRIPTION
Patrícia Janečková is a fourteen year old soprano.  She featured on Czecho-Slovak show Talent Mania and walked off with the trophy, singing a variety of arias and belting out Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Phantom of the Opera' without shying away from those tremendous final high notes. It's very tempting to compare her to fellow young singers Jackie Evancho and Hollie Steel who also came to public attention through reality TV, but Janečková has an entirely different quality to her voice. She utilises such a range that will have sceptics complain about her "ruining her voice" and has a pure quality that can be likened to Hayley Westenra.  She released her self-titled debut album of arias in 2011 in her home country featuring the most respected opera singers in Slovakia and Czech Republic. Although there has not been much indication that Janečková will record in the classical crossover genre (she is concentrating on training to be an opera singer), her young voice currently has the appeal for the crossover audience.

I would buy her album if it was available in the USA or if there wasn't an outrageous $30 shipping fee to the USA.

Even though her CD&DVD are not for sale in the USA, you can download some of her songs on Amazon.com.

She is a beautiful young lady that can hit the high and the low notes whether opera or popular music. If you listen to her you will be more than pleased fall in love with her too. We wish her great success. Hopefully she is learning english and will strongly pursue her future in England and America. A great talent!

Patricia has 'scary talent'for one so young,although she seems bent on becoming an opera singer I hope that she does many forays into CC also in the future.

Patricia Janeckova is a phenomenal talent with a sublime voice. I love her album, the songs are fabulous.
