ARTIST OVERALL RATINGS
The Harp Twins are Camille and Kennerly Kitt, and the name tells you what to expect from them as a musical duo, but they are also so much more. They dip their toes into many disciplines, sometimes integrating them with their music and reminding some of us how little we have done with our own lives. When they are not performing as the only professional twin harpists in the world, they can be found acting, modelling, horse riding, shooting, swimming (they competed in the Junior Olympics five times) and kicking butts with their third degree black belts in Tae Kwon Do. They're also composers, arrangers, record their own music and shoot their own videos. Let's not forget about their volunteer work for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - they have created a series of sign language music videos alongside their mainstream ones. Harp Twins are part of the new type of instrumental classical crossover artist who primarily focus their music career on social media. Like the Piano Guys, Lindsey Stirling and 2cellos, the twins create their own music videos on Youtube; whilst the Twins are the least slick of the bunch and do not enjoy the dizzying subscribers and views of the others, they have an incredibly loyal and active following. To be a fan of the twins is to be acknowledged, appreciated and loved by them; they answer pretty much every single comment ever written to them, and with over 38,000 likes on Facebook, that's not to be sniffed at. They girls are classically trained but their passion lies with rock music which makes up the majority of their otherwise very diverse repertoire. They cover and arrange some of the latest chart hits, film and game soundtracks alongside some classical. Although they have been performing as the Harp Twins for over five years, they are only just starting to release their music for purchase. A physical album is expected by the end of 2013.
