ARTIST OVERALL RATINGS
Chris Mann spent much time as an independent artist and doing odd jobs as a session singer (including for American comedy musical show Glee) when he got the break he wanted. He auditioned for the second series of The Voice in America, where Christina Aguilera acted as his mentor. Although he didn't win, he was immediately signed under Ron Fair's new label (a subsidiary of Universal) and released his first full length album in 2012 to moderate success. With model good looks and a warm expressive tone, Mann should be able to hold on to a major career. Mann is a song writer as well as vocalist, and his debut album contains a few of his own tracks alongside what are mostly current pop covers. The combination of Mann's passion for classical crossover and his team's pop background has ensured a refreshingly up to date repertoire that prevents him from fading into the background with countless other nondescript tenors.
