DESCRIPTION
The Tenors (formerly known as Canadian Tenors) took a while to stabilize their membership and sound, but it all came together in 2008 and the world was introduced to yet another male vocal quartet. We should be grateful for the multi-talented Tenors though (they also play instruments which they use in their live shows). The lads have a healthy repertoire and like to fiddle around with arrangements to give different flavours. Unlike other male quartets, they give each member the limelight - allowing for solo songs and evenly distributing the vocals in their group numbers. If their music is not entertaining enough, they ooze charm and humour which makes an evening with them a fun one. They are not as operatic as Il Divo, but not as pop as Blake; two of the members have powerhouse operatic vocals, whilst the other two are there for the lighter moments. Out of all the male vocal groups, the Tenors have hit the perfect balance and are the group with the most to offer.

Simply put, BEST BAND EVER!!!! They have voices of angels. Each member has a very distinct voice. When they harmonize, they sound like one. Beautiful music arrangements. I have seen them live once and will continue to attend their concerts. As well as being multi talented, these four men are wonderful human beings with all of their charity work. The Tenors are a MUST for anyone that likes music???

:-) Just watching this group on local community TV here in Australia...The Canadian Tenors live at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto...reall y enjoying the show...and agree with your description of the group.

Simply put, the BEST group anywhere. I can't wait to see them in June. I've never been to a concert but would pay anything to hear them. No other group is even close. I like their version of Nessum Dorma more than Pavorotti's. SUPERB

I was introduced to the Canadian Tenors when they sang with Jackie for a christmas song. I loved their bright rich tones as well as their individuality. Now they are " The Tenors" and of course still sound great!

I just viewed the Tenors concert on PBS this evening. They are so entertaining! This concert didn't show the humor the first concert on PBS dd. This concert showed a great deal of sentiment. Clifton Murray told the story of being able to see his Irish tenor grandfather, who passed when Clifton was 3, sing for the fist time on old black and white footage. Clifton's father and mother were shown in the audience, cheering for their son. Victor Micallef told a funny story about his little boy seeing Las Vegas for the first time. The camera panned the little boy sitting on his mother's lap with Victor's signature hat on. When Victor sings a classical piece without holding a microphone, his hand and arm gestures, and of course, his voice are truly operatic. Remigio rounds out the classical, while Clifton and Frazier complete the pop crossover. The only, for me personally, not so great moments were Frazier singing 'Bring Him Home'. It was very well done, but no one sings it like Alfie Boe!

Love the men who are and the music of The Tenors and it's GREAT to see this AWESOME group up for this award! They've performed for so many other awards programs and once again it's Their turn! Their previous albums have hit double Gold and Platinum, and their New CD, Lead With Your Heart,hit Gold in Canada in less than a month. Due to be released in the U.S. Jan 15th and I can't wait to see where it goes here. Have my own copy of the CD and this has already become another favorite.

These lads have recently performed for two PBS Specials,one featuring themselves and a second as guest co-performers for a song with jackie Evancho in Music Of The Night.

I loved the four of them. They have been one of my favorites. I wish they could have remained the same. With the loss of one member and the change of name to The Tenors, I hope it does not confuse their fan base. It will be interesting to see how their new album is received when it is released in October.
